Am Sonntag dem 14.4. 2019 endete das 32. Austria Open mit der Austragung der letzten von sieben Runden und der anschlie\u00dfenden Siegerehrung. Wir k\u00f6nnen somit auf ein erfolgreiches Turnier mit 75 Teilnehmern aus zehn Nationen zur\u00fcckblicken, die von einem GM, zwei IMs und zwei FIDE-Meistern angef\u00fchrt wurden.<\/p>

Die Schiedsrichterin IS Margit Almert hatte keine Probleme mit dem sehr fair verlaufenden Turnier und unterst\u00fctzte zudem tatkr\u00e4ftig unseren langj\u00e4hrigen Obmann Herbert Titz bei der Gestaltung des Buffets, welches sicherlich den Geschmack unserer G\u00e4ste traf.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Der Wettkampf blieb bis zum Ende spannend, denn nach der vorletzten Runde lagen vier Spieler mit jeweils f\u00fcnf Punkten gleichauf in F\u00fchrung. Schlussendlich konnte sich GM Nikolaus Stanec mit einem Sieg in der letzten Runde durchsetzen und errang damit bereits zum 11. Mal den Sieg beim Austria Open. Seine beiden Verfolger IM Manfred Hangweyrer und MK Maximilian Sadilek trennten sich zum Abschluss Remis und durften sich \u00fcber den zweiten beziehungsweise dritten Platz freuen.<\/p>

Die traditionell ebenfalls ausgespielte Austria Klubmeisterschaft gewann zum wiederholten Mal IM Manfred Hangweyrer (5,5 Punkte) vor unserem Obmann MK Klaus Rogetzer (4,0 Punkte) und Michael Veznik (ebenfalls 4,0 Punkte).<\/span><\/p>\n
